Doneth & Sturdivant Wealth Advisors
The offices of Doneth & Sturdivant Wealth Advisors sit where Oregon Pulp & Paper Company, at one time the city of Salem's largest industry, operated on the bank of the Willamette River. When the two partners, Jason Doneth and James Sturdivant, decided to warm up their modern steel and glass office building they were put in touch with Frank Barnett Photography by their interior designer. They had already decided to fill the office walls with vintage images of the neighborhood that their new office now occupies. Frank Barnett and Martha Solomon researched multiple archival sources and came up with more than twenty images ranging in subject from the flood of 1890 to the Oregon State Insane Asylum baseball team. Once their selection had been approved by the partners, Frank and Martha meticulously restored the photographs, selected handsome frames with linen mats and matching fillets, and designed unique acrylic holders for the historic description of each image.
About the Book
To accompany the installation, Barnett and Solomon produced a beautiful 13 x 11 inch coffee table book containing all of the images and their informative descriptions, titled The Doneth & Sturdivant Collection of Vintage Salem Photographs.
